Racial Justice and Racial Equality

Our church has a strong commitment to ongoing dialogue, increased understanding, community education, and collaborative action related to issues of racial justice and racial equality. In February 2021, Bethel New Life will sponsor a “Faith and Action Day” featuring workshops focused on such topics as personal racial relationships, the corporate response to racial equality, teaching youth about race, understanding the meaning of institutional racism, and transforming curriculum to be inclusive.  Our hope is that faith is the common ground by which we can be free to listen, learn, and respond.
